We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties.

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you contact us, for example, when you enquire about products and services, or provide us with what we need to provide you with regular accounting and taxation services and advice. Calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes. We do not share call recordings with any third parties.

What type of information is collected from you?

Taxevo will only capture the minimum personal data required to fulfil our contractual obligations and meet UK government legal requirements. We will securely store all personal data (hard copies and electronic copies) even if you no longer have a valid contract for us to provide services. This is to meet UK government legal obligations.

Who has access to your information?

Only Taxevo employees who need access to your personal data to perform their duties in providing the contracted services will have access to the data.

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

We will not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to our third party service providers, agents subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example when opening a bank account or providing insurance cover). However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond Taxevo for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

Third Party Product Providers we work in association with: We work closely with various third party providers to facilitate the running of your business (e.g. MetroBank, APS, Abbey, Hiscox, IFAs). If you choose to use the facilities offered the respective third party will use your details to provide you with information and carry out their obligations arising from any contracts you have entered into with them. In some cases, they will be acting as a data controller of your information and therefore we advise you to read their Privacy Policy.  These third party product providers will share your information with us which we will use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may transfer your personal information to a third party if we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our terms and conditions. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

We use your information so that we can provide accountancy and taxation services. If you are a client, as we review your information in the preparation of your accounts and tax returns we may contact you regarding services and offers which we think might be beneficial to you in the running of your business, or in respect of your personal tax affairs. If you have contacted us expressing an interest in our services we may from time to time contact you with newsletters, guides and information about our services which we think you would be interested in.
